Are you a BUYER? Know that I will do my utmost to find you just the type of home you are looking for at the price you can afford. I will negotiate strongly on your behalf and be with you through every step of the selling process from the Offer to Purchase, obtaining of a mortgage, home inspection, signing of the Purchase and Sales Agreement and the Closing...and beyond. I pride myself in always being available for my clients and will deal with any questions you may have.
Are you a SELLER? I will do all I can to sell your house for the price you want, starting with a Comparative Market Analysis to determine a realistic price. Then I will hold open houses and advertise it extensively. When an Offer to Purchase comes, I will advise you and help you negotiate for the best possible price. Working with you through the Purchase and Sale Agreement to the Closing, I will be there to help with any of your concerns.
A special achievement has been being named the top producer at the Chatham office for 2008. Being a member of the Top Producer's Club, the Chairman's Club and the President's Club are a testament to my dedication in helping my clients. As of December, 2009 I not only have certification as an Accredited Buyer's Representative but also hold the RSPS designation which is a Resort and Second Home Property Specialist. Recently I became certified as a Senior Real Estate specialist too (SRES). This will be extremely helpful to my clients, the majority of whom come from "over the bridge" looking for that special home for vacationing and retirement in our lovely area on the "elbow" of the Cape!
I have been a year-round resident of Chatham since 1986, and am proud to be a member of one of the Cape's oldest families (albeit by marriage). After graduating from Abington Friends School, I received a degree in Education from Bucknell University and later an M.S. in Counseling from West Chester State University. While in the Philadelphia area, I taught at Temple University. Community involvement has always been important to me and I have served as Secretary and Scholarship Chairman of the Chatham Historical Society and Chairman of St. Christopher's Home and Garden Tour. A special interest is golf, and being on the Board of Governors, Golf Committee and Ladies' Golf Chairman at Eastward Ho! have been an important part of my life.

When not busy with my responsibilities at the Raveis Real Estate Company, my interests are vintage cars, antiques and golf. Evelyn was very helpful in our search for a house on the Cape. We really took our time and she never made us feel rushed or foolish for looking and looking. We eventually found a house and have had a wonderful time fixing it up and just being on the Cape. She was also very helpful with providing us names to call for plumbing, tiling, painting, etc. I found that so helpful because it is much nicer to work with someone that has been recommended rather than finding someone in the phone book. She also took the time to visit us after we closed on the house. I still feel comfortable calling her for advice or help.
